It is easiest to write in generalities about the durability of furniture. At Box I we don't have to, because we have one case that says it all.<\/p>\n

In 2016, we made over 200 linear meters of this model for a large club in Katowice. Eight years later, the client returned. The structure and foam were fine, only the fabric was worn out, so we reupholstered the whole thing, all over 200 meters.<\/p>\n

Eight years of nightclub work is a strain that no laboratory test can replicate.<\/p>\n

The simple form, which is a choice here rather than a cost-cutting measure<\/h2>\n

Box I has no seams, quilting, or channels. The backrest is a single plane, the shape is angular, and the whole thing is upholstered in a single fabric.<\/p>\n

In a piece of furniture meant to last for years, every seam is an additional point where the material undergoes stress and wears out faster than the flat surface next to it. A smooth backrest withstands washing and scrubbing better because there is no seam for dirt to get trapped in.<\/p>\n

Hence the price. Box I costs 530 PLN per meter, less than the quilted ones Monaco<\/a> for 780 PLN, although the frame underneath is of the same class. You are paying for the piece of furniture, not the labor for the stitching.<\/p>\n

90 cm high, which is right between a booth and a partition wall<\/h2>\n

The total height of 90 cm places it between the low models and the Max versions Box I.<\/p>\n

Lodge Basic<\/a> It is 75 cm and leaves the room open. Max versions are 120 cm and divide it into separate rooms. Box I at 90 cm covers a seated guest up to the shoulders and does not obstruct the view across the room for someone standing.<\/p>\n

This compromise works well where staff need to see the entire room from their station: in clubs<\/a>, pubach<\/a> and pizzerias with a single bar serving the entire dining room.<\/p>\n

Which venues does it usually end up in<\/h2>\n

Nightclubs, pubs, pizzerias, and venues where guests sit at tables for hours, and the dining room is cleaned daily.<\/p>\n

The Box I sofa is also sometimes ordered as furniture for spaces that are not gastronomy: waiting room<\/a>, training rooms and waiting areas. The simple form does not impose a character on the interior, so it fits wherever the furniture is meant to be a background.<\/p>\n

What happens after years<\/h2>\n

The fabric wears out, not the structure. That was the case with those over 200 meters in Katowice and that is usually how it looks.<\/p>\n

We only perform reupholstering for our own customers, years after the original order. The reason is simple: we know our own furniture, we know how it was made, and what to expect from it. With furniture from outside production, we cannot assess this before taking it apart.<\/p>\n

During that replacement, the club wasn't closed for a single day. We would take a batch of sofas on Monday, return the finished ones on Friday, and so on week after week until we went through the whole thing.<\/p>\n

Over 200 running meters of Box I have been in use at the club in Katowice since 2016. After eight years, the structure and foam were still in good condition; only the fabric needed replacement.<\/p>\n

Is Box I suitable for venues with a high guest turnover?<\/h3>\n

Yes, and that is its main application. A smooth body without stitching withstands daily cleaning better than a tufted piece of furniture because there are no seams for dirt to get into.<\/p>\n

Can Box I be ordered with a higher backrest?<\/h3>\n
