On level 3 of the Blue City shopping center in Warsaw operates Z\u0142ota Bila, a billiard center at 179 Jerozolimskie Avenue. We equipped it with 88 modules. loge<\/a>, 105.6 linear meters of seating and 76 chairs, which is about 280 seats, in four weeks.<\/p>\n

One shade for 105 meters of box and 76 chairs<\/h2>\n

The whole room went in Bluvel 68 velour: both the seats and the chairs, in the exact same shade. With a square footage like that, it's not an aesthetic decision, it's a production one.<\/p>\n

Fabrics come off the line in batches, and a batch ordered later can differ in shade from the first one. For an order of this size, the material needs to be secured in full at the start, because buying the missing ten meters half a year later would end with a visible difference in the room where all the seats are in plain sight.<\/p>\n

Chairs in the same material as the booths provide something more: the gaming area and the dining section read as a single interior, even though they serve different functions and are separated by the height of the backrests.<\/p>\n

Two backrest heights divide the room without building walls<\/h2>\n

The Z\u0142ota Bila boxes not only provide seating, but also separate the gaming area from the lounge and catering section. We achieved this using only furniture, without building partition walls.<\/p>\n

Paris is 95 cm in total height and guards the room without blocking the view of the billiard tables. Paris Max is 120 cm and encloses the areas where guests stay longer. The twenty-five centimeter difference is enough for the room to read as two spaces rather than one big hall.<\/p>\n

That is why the proportion is what it is: 48 modules of the taller Paris Max compared to 40 of the shorter Paris. In an entertainment venue, it is the lounge areas that need a clearer delineation than the gaming space itself.<\/p>\n

Why 88 modules instead of a few long strings<\/h2>\n

Each module is 1.2 running meters, a length chosen to fit through doors, elevators, and stairwells rather than for aesthetics. A location on the third level of the shopping center meant that every element had to fit in the freight elevator and pass through technical corridors.<\/p>\n

Standardly, we make modules of one meter and 1.2 meters, and the maximum we recommend is 1.4 meters. With an order of this scale, the division ceases to be a detail and becomes a condition for the furniture to even arrive at the site. We make the joints so that they fall in places where they are not visible.<\/p>\n

Four weeks for one hundred five meters<\/h2>\n

We agreed on a four-week deadline with the client, and that is how long the entire order took: 88 booth modules and 76 chairs.<\/p>\n

For comparison, it is worth contrasting this with our project for the bakery-cafe Kaffel in Gliwice, where 5.3 meters of sofa and twelve chairs were produced in the same timeframe, also in four weeks. The scale differs twentyfold, the deadline does not. With custom-made furniture, the bottleneck is not the number of meters, but the moment when the decision on fabric and dimensions is made.<\/p>\n

Unloading at the shopping mall has its own time window<\/h2>\n

A location on the third level of the shopping center means that the delivery does not happen when it is convenient for the carrier. The mall designates an unloading window, and in Z\u0142ota Bila cases it fell late in the evening.<\/p>\n

We scheduled the transport for this date and it was not a problem. Besides, an order of this size does not travel by courier, but by a large forwarding company truck, so the unloading had to be coordinated with the shopping mall's loading dock down to the hour.<\/p>\n

For facilities with a strict schedule, such as shopping malls, hotels, and venues in tight city centers, the delivery time is part of the order, not a detail to be settled at the end. It is worth mentioning it at the quotation stage so that it doesn't turn out on the day of delivery that the truck is standing under a closed loading dock.<\/p>\n

What does this mean for the smaller premises<\/h2>\n

A typical restaurant orders between 10 and 30 running meters from us. Z\u0142ota Bila orders three to ten times that amount, and the Stara Przepompownia location in Ostr\u00f3w Wielkopolski ordered even more\u2014130 meters. The process is the same regardless of the scale: measurement, design of the segmentation, approval of the drawing, and production.<\/p>\n

Z\u0142ota Bila also provides a point of reference that usually does not exist: 105.6 meters of loge plus 76 chairs equals about 280 seats. That works out to roughly two seats for every linear meter of loge, which matches what we use when planning bars.<\/p>\n

If you are planning a room for a dozen or so meters, convert this to your scale. For longer meals, count rather 1.2 to 1.5 running meters per four-person table, because in restaurant<\/a> You sit more loosely than in an entertainment venue. We process orders starting from 1 linear meter, so there is practically no lower limit.<\/p>\n
