Box Basic Max

Basic Max has the exact same body as Basic, but with the backrest raised from 75 to 100 centimeters. The depth, seat, foam, and construction remain unchanged.

However, those 25 centimeters change the function of the piece of furniture. Basic surrounds the room, while Basic Max begins to divide it.

What twenty-five centimeters more does

The 75 cm high backrest ends roughly at the shoulder blades of a seated guest. The room then remains a single open space with a clear view right through it.

At 100 cm, the backrest reaches the neck and blocks the view of the neighboring table. Guests get a sense of privacy, and the room is divided into zones without putting up any partition walls. It is the cheapest way we know to separate parts of the venue, because it does not require touching anything other than the furniture.

The price for this solution: less light passes through the room and the space feels smaller. In a cramped interior with a single window, a higher backrest can do harm.

Where a higher backrest makes sense

Rooms where a single row of seating is to separate the dining area from the aisle or from new. High-ceilinged venues, where low backrests get lost in the space. Places where guests sit longer and appreciate back support above the shoulder blades.

Construction and fabric

Foam selected for commercial applications, identical to the other variants in the family. The higher backrest does not change the comfort of the seat itself, but instead provides back support at a greater height.

Contract fabrics in our offer have a minimum of 40,000 Martindale cycles, and the majority of the collection exceeds 100,000. With a higher backrest, the fabric surface is about one-third larger than in the standard version, which is worth considering when choosing a top-tier material.

Appointment and order

Custom production takes from 3 to 6 weeks, counted from the payment crediting. The minimum order is one linear meter, and before sending to production, we kindly ask for a payment of at least half of the value based on the pro forma invoice. Courier shipping on Euro pallets, door to door.
