When off-the-shelf furniture is no longer enough

The catalog assumes a rectangular room and walls at right angles. A restaurant venue is rarely like that, especially in a tenement house, a historic building, or an attic.

A nook, a recess, a pillar falling right in the middle of a passageway, and an angle other than ninety degrees are situations where ready-made furniture leaves unused square footage or forces a compromise in the arrangement of tables. We custom-make everything that is variable in this piece of furniture, regardless of whether you call it a booth, a sofa, a couch, or a box: we match the length, shape, and fabric to a specific room.

Work starts with numbers, not with visualization

We measure the walls, the height of the windowsills, the location of sockets and radiators, the width of the doors, and the stairwell turn. The latter is often the most important, because the division into segments depends on it.

A six-meter run of booths is transported in pieces anyway. Where the joints fall determines the look of the finished piece of furniture, so we plan them at the drawing stage, not during assembly.

How shape affects price

Not every change costs. Below are four cases that we price differently.

Shortening a segment by a few centimeters, a cutout for a pillar, a different backrest height on one section of the room, or a rounded end of a run are not separately paid options. This is part of the design process, because we decide on the fabric cut and the frame structure ourselves in our own workshop.

The starting point model is checked

We are adapting one of our models to a specific interior instead of designing the furniture from scratch. This reduces both the time and the cost of implementation.

A design that has already been used in dozens of venues features proven solutions that a new project would still have to figure out. You can find the base dimensions on the model specification sheets, and we modify whatever the venue requires.

We design segments for the access road to the premises, not just for the wall

We make the modules a maximum of 1.4 linear meters, standardly one meter or 1.2. This length comes directly from typical doors and stairwells.

When assembling on an upper floor, this is usually the only limitation that truly determines the furniture's design. Smaller orders go via DHL or DPD courier on Euro pallets, door-to-door, at a cost of 350 PLN per pallet. Larger ones we send via a full forwarding company truck, which allows us to deliver the set in a single trip and coordinate the unloading with the time permitted by the building.

A curved booth requires a different pattern than a straight section

The material on protrusions behaves differently, and with poor distribution, it wrinkles after a few months. On curves, we run the seams along the arc line, not across.

This is a difference that is not visible upon delivery, only after the first season. With rounded shapes, we therefore make a separate template instead of stretching the fabric from a straight section.

Delivery time for a custom order

The deadline is determined individually after measurement and project approval, because it depends on the scale of changes compared to the base model. Adjusting the width by five centimeters is different from a new backrest shape for a curved wall.

For guidance: standard custom production takes 3 to 6 weeks from the receipt of payment. Before production, please pay at least 50% of the order value based on the pro forma invoice.

You approve the segment layout drawing before production.

The quotation goes along with the drawing. You accept both before sending the order to production, not during it.

Thanks to this, it doesn't end up with a booth a few centimeters too big for the actual interior. Corrections on paper cost time, corrections on the finished piece of furniture cost the furniture.

Unusual rooms we have already done

W Krzywy Domek in Sopot model Paris We modified it to follow the curve of the wall, and we measured the curve ourselves on-site before production. At House of Hot Pot & BBQ in Poznań, we made a semi-circular booth enclosing a round table in a horseshoe shape, so that all guests sit at an equal distance from the tabletop.

What to send to get the project started

Ideally, a floor plan of the space in any format. If it is not available, a sketch with wall dimensions and photos of each side of the room will suffice, with a particular focus on problematic areas: pillars, alcoves, or sloped ceilings.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does a custom-made booth cost more than a catalog one?

The dimension change itself is not paid separately. We determine the extra charge individually only for angles other than right angles and for rounded shapes, because they require a separate template.

Do you make corners at an angle other than 90 degrees?

Yes, at any angle requested by the customer. We price such an element individually.

Is the corner element more expensive than the straight one?

Not at a right angle. The corner is measured along the outer edge of the backrest and is included in the total footage at the same rate as the straight section.

How long does a custom-made order take?

The delivery date is set after the measurement and approval of the design. Standard custom-made production takes from 3 to 6 weeks from the payment being credited.

Will the piece of furniture fit through the narrow door?

We make sections up to 1.4 running meters, standardly one meter or 1.2, specifically for typical doors and stairwells. Provide the entrance width, and we will choose the division.

Do you come out for measurements?

Yes, or we can work from the submitted floor plan. For unusual curves, we take measurements on site, like in Krzywy Domek in Sopot.
