A restaurant booth, a restaurant sofa, and a restaurant couch are three names for the same piece of furniture: an upholstered seat whose length is matched to the wall. Some customers call for a booth, some for a sofa, and they are ordering the exact same thing.
It is also called a restaurant booth, especially when a higher backrest separates the table from the rest of the dining room. We are writing about this directly because the name is sometimes the only difference between two offers you are comparing. How many seats fit against the wall
A table for four people where the guests sit on one side on loge, takes up from 1.2 to 1.5 running meters. A room with five such tables along one wall is approximately 6 to 7.2 meters.
A restaurateur calculates two things at once when planning: how many people will sit and how long they will last at the table. These numbers go against the grain. Tight seating increases occupancy, but shortens the visit, and a shortened visit reduces the bill. A booth solves this differently than chairs, because a continuous row of seats against the wall gives back the floor space that chairs need to be pulled out.
The furniture itself takes up 70 cm of depth. This is the figure you subtract from the width of the room before calculating space for the table and the waiter's aisle. We fulfill orders starting from 1 linear meter.
Seat and countertop height, or what comfort during a longer meal depends on
We set the seat at 43 centimeters from the floor, and the tabletop at 75. This difference, thirty-two centimeters, determines whether a guest during the main course is sitting comfortably or resting on their elbows.
We select a gentler backrest angle than in bar. In a restaurant, people sit longer, and their backs need support, not just a momentary rest.

All three have a depth of 70 cm and a seat height of 43 cm. The price difference between Paris and Paris Max is due entirely to the amount of material and the design of the higher backrest, not the build quality.

How long do you have to wait for a booth in the restaurant
The deadline depends on whether the furniture is being made for your room or if we take it from stock.

The fabric in the restaurant works against grease, not just against abrasion

The box seats quiet down the room that is getting loud
Noise bouncing off stone, glass, and concrete cuts visits short just as effectively as an uncomfortable chair. When fully booked, it can drown out a conversation at your own table.
The upholstered backrest surface absorbs some of this sound. A row of booths along the wall therefore acts as an acoustic panel that doubles as furniture. The higher the backrest, the larger the sound-damping surface, which is why the Paris Max performs better in rooms with hard finishes than lower models.
How do we divide a piece of furniture into segments
We assemble the long run from modules, otherwise it wouldn't fit into the premises. Standard lengths are 1 meter and 1.2 meters, and the maximum we recommend is 1.4 linear meters.
Thanks to this, the segments fit through standard doors and stairwells, and the joints fall where they are not visible. When assembling on an upper floor, this is usually the only limitation that truly determines the construction of the furniture. Corner pieces are measured along the back and added to the total footage at the same price as a straight piece.

The restaurant rarely buys a single booth
Usually, this is a complete set for the entire room: several runs of various lengths, freestanding chairs at tables, and bar stools. We design this as a single order and a single color scheme, rather than separate purchases that happen to sit next to each other in the same room.
We select worktops from the AMA 80 series and AMA 100 or from the PU LAM 60, 70, and 80 tables. We manufacture chairs and tables in 7 to 14 business days, which is faster than custom-made booths. We keep the finished chairs in our warehouse and ship the entire set in a single shipment once the box seat is complete. This way, you don’t have to pay for two deliveries, and you don’t have to store the chairs on your premises for several weeks before the opening.
