A bar couch and a bar sofa are simply different names loge. It's about a upholstered seat mounted against the wall or along the bar line, in segments matching the length of the venue.
The name usually depends on where the client came from. Interior designers talk about a sofa, venue owners about a booth, sofa appears most frequently in internet queries, and for separated spaces by the wall we also hear box. Each time we quote the exact same thing, at the same rate per meter.
How many people does the wall bar booth seat
A linear meter of bar seating is about two seats. Against a six-meter wall, this yields twelve people in a space where chairs arranged on both sides of tables would seat eight.
People sit tighter in a bar than in restaurant And that is intentional. For a longer meal, we allow 1.2 to 1.5 meters per four-person table, because the guest spends an hour or two at the table. At a bar, the visit is shorter, the turnover is faster, and denser placement is not an issue.
So we begin the conversation about bar equipment with the room layout, not by choosing a model from a catalogue. The piece of furniture itself takes up from 50 to 70 cm in depth, depending on the model, and you subtract this number from the room's width. We fulfill orders starting from 1 linear meter.

If you want a clear separation of zones in the room, choose the Max version, which is the same piece of furniture with a higher backrest. Monaco Max has a total height of 120 cm compared to 95 cm in the standard version.

Design and seat height
The structure goes under a load that in a bar is different than at home. We weld and reinforce the frame in the corners, where the seats take the most stress when getting up, and we choose foam with a density intended for continuous use. A guest sits down for fifteen minutes and gets up, another takes the same spot five minutes later, and so on all evening.
The seats in all three models are at a height of 43 cm from the floor, which fits a standard-height table.
We do not produce elevated booths for high bar counters. Bar stools work well right by the counter, which we make to order along with the booth.
How long do you have to wait for a bar booth
The deadline depends on whether the furniture is being custom-made for your premises or if we take it from stock.

How much does a custom-made bar booth cost
The price depends on three things: the model, the fabric, and the length of the run. A bar near the station and an air-conditioned venue in the center place different demands on the material, so we do not provide a single rate for everyone.
We prepare the quote before ordering, along with a drawing of the segment layout, so you know the cost and appearance before anything goes into production. Before production, we ask you to pay at least 50% of the order value on a pro forma invoice, and you pay the rest by bank transfer before shipping or cash on delivery to the courier.
In the bar opening budget, you don't need to include a line item for assembly. The construction is designed so that the staff can set up the segments while carrying them in. Upon request, we will come and assemble the set ourselves.
The fabric at the bar works against spilled drinks
In a bar, fabric is tested by abrasion, but above all by what gets spilled on it. No fabric that we offer for venues has fewer than 40 000 Martindale cycles, and most of our selection exceeds 100 000. Faux leather can be wiped down with a damp cloth and you are back to work, which is why it works better in nightlife venues than velvet.
Before sewing, we send out fabric samples within 1 to 2 business days of our phone call. The selection is broader than what is visible in the catalog, as we have hundreds of sample books, so we put together a package tailored specifically to the venue rather than sending everything. The color on a computer screen and the color under bar lighting are two different things, especially with warm incandescent light, which mutes cool shades. Examine the sample in the venue at the time of day when the bar is actually operating. We also offer fabrics with various certifications, according to our customers' needs.
Bar furniture other than booths
A bar rarely replaces just the seats. For a booth, we match bar stools and tables in the same fabric or in a contrasting yet cohesive combination, so that the room looks fully furnished.
If some of the seating remains from the old equipment, we match the new segments to them in color and backrest height. Chairs and tables are produced in 7 to 14 business days, and custom booths in 3 to 6 weeks. The finished chairs wait in our warehouse until the booth leaves production, and everything goes in a single shipment. The bar gets the complete set in one day, paying for a single delivery.
We select tabletops from the AMA 80 and AMA 100 series or from PU LAM 60, 70, and 80 tables. We have been working in the furniture industry since 2005 and complete over 50 orders a year, so we know which solutions work well in a bar and which only look good in a photo.
Why does the bar get segments instead of one long piece of furniture
A bar rarely has a straight wall along its entire length. Usually, there are pillars, a recess at the entrance, and a bend near the restrooms, so we assemble the row of seating from segments that bypass these obstacles instead of leaning against them.
We make a section to a maximum of 1.4 linear meters, standardly one meter or 1.2. This length comes from the doors and stairwells that the furniture must pass through on the delivery day. We measure the corner along the back and calculate it at the same rate as a straight section.
Bar booths in real venues
In venues where traffic lasts from morning until closing, comfort is determined by matching the seating arrangement to the layout of the room. In the Kaffel bakery-cafe in Gliwice, the booth runs along the historic tiled wall, and its bottle green is taken directly from the color of the tiles.
In the restaurant on Dob Street in Budapest, we finished the same structure in an arch, with a rounded end, so that the seats enclose the room instead of dividing it into rectangular modules. At bars, we work the same way: we measure the space and fit the shape, instead of forcing a ready-made module into a place it doesn't belong.
