Do restaurant At 21 Dob Street in Budapest, we made the seating Paris made-to-measure. The venue has two rooms with completely different characters, so the same model went into two finishes: mustard in the glass-walled main room and dark in the intimate area by the stone wall.

The same piece of furniture in two rooms with opposing characters

The main hall is glass-walled and bright, with a lime green canopy over the tables. The second part is an intimate interior by a stone wall, where there is less light and the guest sits closer to the neighboring table.

Mustard upholstery in the glass-walled room holds the warmth of its color in a space that otherwise becomes cold and completely transparent. The darker finish in the intimate section does the opposite: it absorbs light instead of reflecting it and encloses the smaller space.

The construction and model are identical in both rooms. Only the color changes, which costs the same and gives two interiors instead of one repeated twice.

How do we calculate shape

Arches and rounded ends are the only cases with an individually determined surcharge, because each such element requires a separate template. We run the seams along the arc line so that the fabric does not wrinkle after a few months.

Soft to the touch and durable at the same time

We selected the fabric for the intensive use typical of the gastronomy sector, while maintaining a soft finish to the touch. These two things can often be at opposite ends, because the most durable materials tend to be the least pleasant.
