Snake is a modular system for open spaces. The straight element is its basic building block, and together with the other four modules, it can be arranged into a seat of any shape: a wall-mounted run, an L-shape, a wave along a hallway, or a full circle standing freely in the middle of the room.
We built the first such set for the Ptak gallery near Lodz, one of the largest shopping areas in Poland. Since then, we have been making it to order in any configuration. Snake differs in this respect from our loge one thing: the seat is forty centimeters, not forty-three as in the models Basic, Parma, Paris or Monaco.
A seat height of 43 cm is designed to be paired with a table. A guest sits upright, eats, and leaves. Snake is 40 cm, which is a lounge height: you sit lower and more relaxed, more often with a drink than a plate.
This works well in relaxation areas, waiting rooms, shopping arcades, and lobbies, meaning wherever furniture does not stand by a dining table. If you are planning a restaurant dining room with tables, opt for a booth with a 43 cm seat height.

We price the straight element per linear meter because you set its length yourself. The remaining modules have a fixed size, so they are sold per piece.

All system modules have the same seat height and depth, so they align in a single line regardless of the order in which you arrange them.
A booth is designed against a wall. Snake does not need it at all, because it stands freely and closes by itself: with a circle, a wave, or as an island in the middle of the room.
This opens up applications that booth seating cannot handle. A shopping mall passage, hotel lobby, waiting area, showroom, office space, cinema or clinic lobby. In all these places, the seat must stand alone, and often also organize the traffic around it. A low, forty-centimeter seat fits such places better than dining height.
The first set was created for the Ptak gallery near Łódź, and it was there that we tested how far this system could be stretched. A shopping arcade of this size is, after all, the most difficult test for such a piece of furniture: traffic continues all day long, the seats stand freely without a wall behind them, and the composition must organize the space rather than just fill it.
When ordering a custom-built booth, the workshop sends a floor plan, we send back the segment design, and then approval and production take place. With Snake, this stage looks different because you build the shape using blocks of known dimensions.
It is enough to count how many meters of the straight section, how many corners, how many arc quarters, and how many poufs create the intended form. The pricing comes directly from this list, and the client sees it before anything goes into production.

A custom booth is built for one specific room layout. When the room changes, the furniture remains as it was.
System Snake can be rearranged. The same set of modules creates a different composition when you move zones, divide the space differently, or move to another location. You are buying flexibility instead of a perfect fit for a single floor plan.
However, you pay for the fit with the fact that you assemble the shape from ready-made blocks. In the case of a room with an unusual angle or a crooked wall, a custom-made box will fill the space more precisely.
Simple, rounded form and stable construction work well in high-traffic areas: shopping malls, restaurants and hotels. Foam selected for continuous use, identical in all system modules.

You place them next to each other in a row, and when changing direction you insert Snake 2 at a right angle or Snake 4 for a curve. All modules have the same height and depth, so the seating line remains continuous.
