Presta Meble
Custom booths and custom sofas for your venue
from PLN 380 per linear metre
That is the price of Booth Basic; the final price depends on the model, the fabric and the length of the seating.
Custom booths are the answer to a room that does not fit the catalogue: sloping ceilings, recesses, a pillar in the middle of the aisle, angles other than 90 degrees. We measure the space and design the segments to use every metre without compromising guest comfort.
When ready-made furniture is no longer enough
A catalogue assumes a rectangular room with walls at right angles. A hospitality venue is rarely like that, especially in a tenement building, a historic building or an attic.
A slope, a recess, a pillar in the middle of the aisle and an angle other than ninety degrees are situations in which ready-made furniture leaves floor space unused or forces a compromise in the table layout. We make everything that can vary in this furniture to measure, whether you call it a booth, a sofa, a couch or a banquette: we fit the length, the shape and the fabric to the specific room.
The work starts with numbers, not with a visualisation
We measure the walls, the height of the window sills, the position of sockets and radiators, the width of the doors and the turn of the staircase. That last one is often the most important, because the division into segments depends on it.
A six-metre run of booth travels in pieces anyway. Where the joints fall decides how the finished furniture looks, so we plan them at the drawing stage, not during installation.
How the shape affects the price
Not every change costs extra. Below are four cases that we price differently.
| Shape | How we price it |
|---|---|
| Straight section | price per linear metre |
| Corner piece at a right angle | the same price as straight, measured along the back and added to the length |
| Angle other than 90 degrees | surcharge agreed individually, needs a separate template |
| Arc and rounded form | surcharge agreed individually, needs a separate template |
Shortening a segment by a few centimetres, a cut-out for a pillar, a different backrest height on one section of the room or a rounded end to the run are not separately charged options. They are part of the design process, because we decide ourselves on the cut of the fabric and the construction of the frame in our own workshop.
A proven model stays the starting point
We adapt one of our models to a specific interior instead of designing furniture from scratch. That shortens both the time and the cost of the project.
A construction that has already worked in dozens of venues comes with proven solutions that a new design would still have to arrive at. You will find the base dimensions on the model pages, and we change in them whatever the room requires.
We design segments for the route into the venue, not only for the wall
We make modules at most 1.4 linear metres long, as standard 1 or 1.2 metres. That length comes straight from standard doors and staircases.
When installing upstairs, it is usually the only constraint that really decides the construction of the furniture. We ship on euro pallets, door to door, and calculate the transport cost to your address together with the quote. Larger orders travel in a whole truck from a freight company, which lets us deliver the complete set in one trip and time the unloading to the hour the building allows.
A curved booth needs a different cut than a straight section
Fabric on a convex surface behaves differently, and if it is laid out badly it wrinkles after a few months. On curves we run the seams along the line of the arc, not across it.
That is a difference you do not see at handover, only after the first season. So for rounded forms we make a separate template instead of stretching fabric cut for a straight section.
Lead time for a non-standard order
We set the date individually after measuring and approval of the design, because it depends on how much changes compared with the base model. Correcting the width by five centimetres is one thing, a new backrest shape for a curved wall is another.
For guidance: standard custom production takes 3 to 6 weeks from the moment your payment is booked. Before production we ask for at least 50% of the order value on a pro forma invoice.
You approve the segment layout drawing before production
The quote comes with a drawing. You approve both before the order goes into production, not during it.
That way it does not end with a booth a few centimetres too large for the real interior. Corrections on paper cost time, corrections on finished furniture cost the furniture.
Unusual rooms we have already done
At Krzywy Domek in Sopot we adapted the Paris model to follow the curve of the wall, and we measured the curve ourselves on site before production. At House of Hot Pot & BBQ in Poznań we made a semicircular booth wrapping around a round table in a horseshoe, so that every guest sits at the same distance from the table top.
We have worked in the furniture industry since 2005, with more than 50 projects a year, so we have seen most of the layouts a hospitality venue can have: from sloping ceilings to low attic ceilings and rooms with a structural pillar in the middle.
We work to measure for every type of venue: bars, restaurants, clubs, pubs and nightclubs. You choose the finish under upholstered and leather booths.
What to send to get the design started
Ideally a floor plan of the venue in any format. If there is none, a sketch with wall dimensions and photos from each side of the room are enough, with particular attention to the problem spots: the pillar, the recess or the slope.
Give us also the width of the entrance door and whether the venue is on the ground floor. We take orders from 1 linear metre: +48 535 080 040.
Frequently asked questions
Does a custom booth cost more than a catalogue one?
A change of size is not charged separately. We agree a surcharge individually only for angles other than 90 degrees and for rounded forms, because they need a separate template.
Do you make corners at an angle other than 90 degrees?
Yes, at any angle the client wants. We price such a piece individually.
Is a corner piece more expensive than a straight one?
Not at a right angle. We measure the corner along the outer edge of the backrest and it goes into the total length at the same rate as a straight section.
How long does a custom order take?
We set the date after measuring and approval of the design. Standard custom production takes 3 to 6 weeks from the moment your payment is booked.
Will the furniture fit through a narrow door?
We make segments up to 1.4 linear metres, as standard 1 or 1.2 metres, precisely for standard doors and staircases. Give us the width of the entrance and we will choose the division.
Do you come to measure?
Yes, or we work from a plan you send. For unusual curves we measure on site, as at Krzywy Domek in Sopot.
