Dimensions in centimetres
Paris is our most ordered model for rooms where guests sit longer. The backrest has vertical channels running its full height, and the body is deeper than in the Basic and Parma models: 70 centimetres instead of 50.
Those twenty centimetres change the class of the furniture. At 50 cm depth you sit upright and briefly; at 70 you can lean back and stay at the table for an hour or two.
A depth of 70 cm is a different way of sitting
Shallow models work in a bar and in a venue with high turnover, where a guest sits down for a quarter of an hour. Paris is designed for a longer visit, so the seat supports the thighs along their whole length and the back has room to settle.
The price of this comfort is floor space. A run of Paris takes 70 cm of depth instead of 50, a third more, and you subtract that difference from the width of the room before working out the walkway. In a narrow room that can be the deciding argument for a shallower model.
At this depth four modules of 1.2 metres fit on a pallet instead of six, so transport for the same length of seating costs more.
Vertical channels
The backrest is divided by vertical, rounded channels running from the seat to the top edge. It is not a flat surface with stitching, but raised rolls with shadow falling between them.
The effect is different from the grid of the Parma family. The channels lead the eye vertically, so the furniture looks taller and slimmer than it is. In a long run along a wall the rhythm of vertical lines breaks up the horizontal mass that would otherwise stretch evenly across the whole room.

Paris in real venues
This model stands in the Kaffel bakery café in Gliwice, at Złota Bila in Blue City, Warsaw, in the restaurant on Dob utca in Budapest and at House of Hot Pot & BBQ in Poznań, where we also made it in a semicircular version around a table. At Krzywy Domek in Sopot we adapted it to the curve of the wall, and at Restbotanica in Katowice it was made in a straight and a curved version at once.
It is the most frequently modified model in our catalogue, because it takes a change of shape well without losing its proportions.

Frequently asked questions
What are the dimensions of Booth Paris?
Depth 70 cm, overall height 95 cm, seat 43 cm above the floor. Standard module lengths are 1 m and 1.2 m.
How does Paris differ from the Basic and Parma models?
In depth and stitching. Paris is 70 cm deep instead of 50, so it is designed for longer sitting, and its backrest is divided into vertical channels.
How does Paris differ from Paris45?
In the direction of the channels. In Paris they run vertically, in Paris45 diagonally, at an angle of 45 degrees. The dimensions are identical.
How long does Paris take?
Made to measure, 3 to 6 weeks from the moment your payment is booked. We confirm the exact date together with the quote.
How many modules fit on a pallet?
Four modules of 1.2 metres. At a depth of 70 cm fewer fit than with the 50-centimetre models, which shows in the transport cost.
Can Paris be made in an arc?
Yes, and we have done it many times, including at Krzywy Domek in Sopot and at Restbotanica in Katowice. We price rounded forms with a surcharge agreed individually.
