- Ordering: lead times and quotes
Ordering furniture for a venue opening? Why lead time matters more than price

You are opening a venue and the date is already set. Before the conversation turns to the colour of the fabric or the shape of the backrest, it is worth settling one thing: will the furniture be ready at all? Below we work it out from the end, that is from the opening day backwards.
How much time is left before the opening and what is still possible
How many days separate you from the opening decides which lead times are still realistic.
| Time left before the opening | What is possible | What you have to accept |
|---|---|---|
| Two months or more | full custom production | nothing, it is the calmest option |
| About a month | custom production without a margin | the date depends on our workload that week |
A booth, a restaurant sofa and a venue couch are the same piece of furniture, so these lead times apply to all three names.
From 3 to 6 weeks, but counted from when
The standard production time for custom upholstered furniture is 3 to 6 weeks from the moment your payment is booked, not from when you send your enquiry. This difference decides many openings.
If the quote, the choice of fabric and agreeing the details take a week or two, and then you wait for the transfer to be booked, the real time from first contact to delivery is 7 to 8 weeks. With an opening on a fixed date, that is the difference between a finished room and bare walls.
Before we start production, we ask for payment of at least 50% of the order value on a pro forma invoice. You pay the rest by bank transfer before shipping or cash on delivery. It is worth knowing this in advance, because the lead time only starts when that first payment is booked. Ask us about the details via the contact page.
What to do before the opening date is confirmed
Ask for a quote and dimensions in advance, even if the decision will be made in a month. That way, when the date becomes clear, production starts straight away instead of waiting for details to be settled under time pressure.
If you want furniture sewn to measure, get in touch about two months before the opening. That covers 3 to 6 weeks of production, a week or two for the quote and the choice of fabric, and the transport.
A deadline outside Poland: a restaurant in Budapest
A deadline can also be met outside Poland. We made the furniture for a restaurant in Budapest and delivered it to Hungary.
What to ask the manufacturer before ordering
Ask directly about the real time from payment to delivery, not only the production time from the price list. Agreeing the details also takes time, and it is what decides whether the furniture will be ready for the opening.
Give us the opening date, the length of the wall and whether the colour has to be a specific one. We will tell you on the phone what is still realistic: +48 535 080 040.
Frequently asked questions
From when are the 3 to 6 weeks counted?
From the moment your payment is booked, not from when you send your enquiry. The real time from first contact to delivery is usually 7 to 8 weeks.
How much do I pay up front?
At least 50% of the order value, on a pro forma invoice. You pay the rest by bank transfer before shipping or cash on delivery.
How long before the opening should I get in touch?
About two months, if you want custom furniture without rushing.
Can it be done if only a few weeks are left?
Tell us the date when you ask for a quote. Whether we can meet it in a particular week depends on our workload, so you need to call and ask. In some cases, also for orders from abroad, express production is possible. Ask about it when you request a quote.
Does the colour affect the lead time?
No. Custom booths take 3 to 6 weeks from the moment your payment is booked, whatever the colour and fabric.
