Custom furniture for a venue: how long it takes and when to get in touch

You are ordering furniture for a venue and the same question comes back: how long will it take, and when do you need to get in touch so that everything is ready for the opening? The answer depends on whether you are ordering booths sewn to measure or chairs and tables.

Two lead times for furniture from our workshop

We make upholstered furniture and chairs with tables in two different lead times.

A booth, a restaurant sofa and a venue couch are the same piece of furniture with us, so the lead times in the table apply to all three names.

What custom furniture gives you and how long you wait for it

Custom furniture gives full control over length, shape, fabric and backrest height, and you pay for it in time. It is the solution for a room with an unusual layout, with corners, or where the interior has a consistent colour theme and a particular fabric has to be chosen for it. That is how we make, among others, Booth Windsor.

We count those 3 to 6 weeks from the moment your payment is booked, not from when you send your enquiry. If the quote, the choice of fabric and agreeing the details take a week or two, the real time from first contact to delivery is 7 to 8 weeks. So if you want furniture sewn to measure, get in touch about two months before the opening date.

When the opening date is close

If the opening date is closer than the production time, tell us straight away. We will check what can be done in the given week, instead of promising a date from a price list. In some cases, also for orders from abroad, express production is possible. Ask about it when you request a quote.

The second case is replacing a damaged element quickly. We make an identical one to measure; tell us that it is urgent.

What "from the moment your payment is booked" means

Before we start production, we ask for payment of at least 50% of the order value on the basis of a pro forma invoice. The 3 to 6 weeks are counted from the moment that payment is booked, not from the day you wrote your enquiry.

You can pay the rest by bank transfer before shipping or cash on delivery. This is because every order has different dimensions and finishes, so the furniture is made only for a specific client.

How the furniture reaches your venue

We ship on euro pallets. How much furniture fits on one pallet depends on the model: six modules of 1.2 metres of Booth Basic, four of Booth Paris. We calculate the transport cost to your address together with the quote. Ask us about the details via the contact page.

Delivery is door to door. You can also collect the furniture with your own transport from our factory in Pszów, by prior arrangement.

Do you need to book an installation crew

You do not. We design the furniture so that installation is not needed, and we do it deliberately: every hour of a crew on site raises the bill, and with a modular booth it adds nothing. You set up and join the segments yourself.

If you prefer us to do it for you, we install on request. We then agree it at the quotation stage, together with the date.

A compromise some venues use

Some venues split their order in time. Most of the room is made to measure, ordered well in advance, and one or two extra elements are ordered later, for example when the room is extended. You then have to accept that the colour may not match the rest of the furniture shade for shade.

How to plan the date

Start from the opening date, not from the model. If you have more than two months, full custom production fits in without any rush. If less is left, call us and we will check the workload.

Yes. We make custom booths in any fabric from our range, of which we have hundreds of samples, or in fabric you supply yourself.

How much do I pay up front?

Do chairs and tables have the same lead time as booths?

No. We make chairs and tables in 7 to 14 working days, regardless of colour, and booths sewn to measure in 3 to 6 weeks. The exception is Chair 121, which we make in 3 to 6 weeks.
