How much does it cost to furnish a restaurant with custom booths? How to work out the price per linear metre

Rust and brown velour booths with vertical stitching by the brick wall of a café

A price given per linear metre can be misleading until you know how many metres a particular room needs. That is the first thing worth working out before you start comparing offers.

What a linear metre is and how many you need per table

A linear metre is the length of the furniture measured along the line of the seat, regardless of how many people fit on it. A table for four, with guests sitting on one side on a booth, takes 1.2 to 1.5 linear metres, depending on the model and the seat depth.

On the other side of the table there are usually chairs, and we choose the top from the AMA 80 and AMA 100 series or the PU LAM 60, 70 and 80 tables. We take orders from 1 linear metre.

How we price corner elements and unusual forms

The shape affects the price in only two places, and in a third it does not affect it at all.

Shape How we price it
Straight element price per linear metre
Corner element at a right angle the same price, measured along the back and added to the length
Angle other than 90 degrees surcharge agreed individually
Arc and rounded form surcharge agreed individually

A room with five tables for four along one wall means roughly 6 to 7.2 linear metres, counting the corners together with the rest.

What the price per linear metre depends on

The price differs between models mainly for two reasons: the type and weight of the fabric and the height of the backrest. A model with a lower backrest in a basic fabric costs less than the same shape with a higher backrest in a premium fabric.

The difference between the base version and the version with a higher backrest in the same model family comes only from the amount of material and the construction, not from the quality of workmanship. We do not list fabric prices in the price list, because there are too many types, and we price them for the specific choice.

What it comes to in a particular room

Take a room with five tables for four along one wall, that is 6 to 7.2 linear metres, which means five or six modules of 1.2 metres. The same room in two models looks like this:

Item Booth Basic Booth Paris
Price per linear metre from PLN 380 from PLN 750
Modules per pallet 6 4
Pallets for this room 1 2
Furniture total, before transport approx. PLN 2,280 to 2,740 approx. PLN 4,500 to 5,400

Basic packs more densely, because it is 50 cm deep compared with 70 cm for Paris, so it is cheaper twice: in the price of the furniture and in transport. The same room, two different budgets. That is why at the quotation stage we first ask about the length of the wall, and only then about the model.

Transport and payment, the rest of the bill

We calculate the transport cost to your address together with the quote. Delivery is door to door, on euro pallets. You can also collect the furniture with your own transport from the factory in Pszów, by prior arrangement. Ask us about the details via the contact page.

You do not pay for installation, because we design the furniture so that it is not needed. If you prefer us to install it on site, we do so on request and agree it at the quotation stage.

Before production we ask for payment of at least 50% of the order value against a pro forma invoice. You pay the rest by bank transfer before shipping or cash on delivery.

Does a shorter lead time cost more

Standard custom production takes 3 to 6 weeks. If your opening date is tight, tell us when you ask for a quote, and we will say straight away whether it can be met.

We give the specific amount in the quote, because it depends on the model and the length of the order.

Frequently asked questions

How many linear metres does a table for four need?

From 1.2 to 1.5 metres, if guests sit on one side of the table.

Does a corner element cost more?

No, if the angle is a right angle. We measure it along the back and add it to the length at the same price. We price angles other than 90 degrees and curved forms individually.

How much does transport cost?

We calculate the transport cost to your address together with the quote. One pallet takes six Basic modules of 1.2 metres or four Paris modules.

How much do I pay up front?

At least 50% of the order value, on a pro forma invoice. The rest by bank transfer before shipping or cash on delivery.

What is the minimum order?

One linear metre.

Is installation included in the price?

We design the furniture so that installation is not needed, so you do not pay for a crew. On request we will install it for you; we agree this at the quotation stage.
