Dimensions in centimetres
Parma Max is Parma with the backrest raised to one hundred centimetres. The body stays angular, the backrest flat and without stitching, and the furniture still stands on visible round legs.
At this height the seating stops simply lining the wall and starts to divide the room. The backrest reaches the neck of a seated guest and blocks the view of the next table.
Two routes to a 100 cm backrest
Our catalogue has two models with a 100 cm backrest, and they differ not in height but in the shape of the whole body.
| Model | Body | Legs | Price from |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic Max | rounded, backrest as a separate cushion | low, barely visible | PLN 460/lm |
| Parma Max | angular, backrest in one line with the seat | tall, round, visible | PLN 520/lm |
Basic Max looks soft and sits low to the floor. Parma Max is geometric and raised, so you can see the floor under the furniture along the whole run.
The sixty-zloty difference per metre is the cost of the second form, not of a better construction. The foam, depth and seat are the same in both models.

When a 100 cm backrest helps and when it gets in the way
It helps in a large room where one run is meant to separate the dining area from a walkway or the bar, and in venues with a high ceiling, where a low seat gets lost in the space. The guest gets back support above the shoulder blades and a sense of separation from the next table.
It gets in the way in a cramped interior with one window, because you cannot see through the run of seats and the room feels smaller. There Parma with the eighty-centimetre backrest works better, keeping the same form with a lower line.
A plain backrest over a large area
At one hundred centimetres the backrest area is about a third larger than in the base version. A plain surface of that size shows everything: the texture of the fabric, the way the material catches the light, and every unevenness underneath.
That cuts both ways. With good velour a large uniform surface looks impressive, and that is how it works in hotel lobbies. With a cheap, flat material the same surface emphasises its flatness. If you choose Parma Max, the choice of fabric matters more than with stitched models, which create their own texture.
The alternative is Parma II Max, the same body with a grid-stitched backrest.
Construction and fabric
Foam with a density designed for continuous use, identical across the Parma family. The higher backrest does not change the comfort of the seat, but it adds back support at a greater height.
Our fabrics for venues have a minimum of 40,000 Martindale cycles, and most of the range exceeds 100,000. We put the sample book together for a specific venue and send it within 1 to 2 working days of a phone call.
Lead time and ordering
The made-to-measure lead time is 3 to 6 weeks from the moment your payment is booked. We confirm the exact date together with the quote.
The minimum order is one linear metre. We measure corner elements along the back and charge them at the same rate as a straight section: +48 535 080 040.
