Snake 4 is a quarter of a circle with a curved backrest. It is the most expensive and largest module of the system, because the curved body requires a different fabric cut and a different frame than a straight section.

Four such quarters put together make a full circle. Two make a semicircle, one rounds off the end of a sequence or introduces a gentle turn where a right angle would be too sharp.

Why does an arc cost almost twice as much as a corner

Snake 2 It bends at a right angle and has a square outline, so the fabric lies flat on it, just as it would on a straight line. Snake 4 is curved at every point.

Material stretched over a convex shape behaves differently than on a flat surface, and with poor distribution, it wrinkles after a few months. The pattern for such a 3D form is planned separately, and the seams are run along the arc lines, not across them. Added to that is a bent frame, which must maintain the shape.
